This business unit handles various types of ingots, centering on lead and zinc ingots, and various types of metallic compounds, including zinc oxide and lead silicate. For lead ingots, lead processed products and related products, among others, we have ample information and maintain close relationships with overseas supply sources through our overseas network, particularly in China.
Moreover, we have established a cooperative system with overseas subsidiaries and affiliates in China and Southeast Asia, our production bases, and we are promoting business operations aimed at demonstrating the value of the corporate group, particularly in transactions between foreign countries.
We are now living in an age when the creation of recycling systems is acquiring greater importance because of environmental considerations and, with this in mind, this business unit has taken the lead in carrying out business projects to create a system of recycling automotive batteries and other nonferrous metals.
