■What is your medium-term management plan?

In the medium-term management plan, the “Three-Year Growth Plan,” which started from fiscal 2007, the Company presents its basic management policies for future growth and expansion as follows:

　　[2] Deploying aggressive operations with strict corporate governance and compliance based on a solid business structure

■What compliance measures is the company taking?

A Code of Conduct has been distributed to all employees and a compliance officer has been appointed in each business unit and each department of the Administration Division. Compliance-related reports and queries from employees are collated by the Compliance Committee and reported to the Ethics Committee headed by the director in charge of administration. March 31 for year-end dividends and September 30 for interim dividends. The company apologizes to shareholders for the continued nonpayment of dividends, but is working to put the business on a footing that will enable it to pay steady dividends in FY2006, the final year of “Strengthening the Earnings Base: Three-year Management Plan.”
